Hey there!

Meet Liliya

Welcome to We Are Recipes. This is where I share the meals that actually get people talking at the table. The kind of recipes that don’t take all day but still taste like you put your heart into them. I’m not here to overcomplicate anything, just real food, easy steps, and those little tricks that make all the difference.
Let’s make cooking great again!

Dinner Shouldn’t Take Forever

I get it. Life’s busy and nobody wants to spend hours in the kitchen. I’m all about quick meals that still feel homemade and full of love.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How did you start We Are Recipes and get into blogging?

It all began with flour-dusted memories in my grandma’s kitchen and a growing love for creating food that made people happy. After years of cooking for family and friends, I realized I had a heart full of recipes and stories I wanted to share. Starting We Are Recipes was my way of turning that love into a space where anyone could feel welcome, inspired, and ready to cook something amazing, without stress or fancy tools.

What happens to all the food you make for recipe testing?

We eat it! My family is the first taste-test crew, and let’s just say no one ever skips dinner around here. If I’m making big batches, I’ll often share with neighbors or pack up extra for friends. Nothing goes to waste—we love good food too much for that!

Do you send recipes by email, or how can I make sure I never miss one?

Yes, I do! You can sign up for my free newsletter—it’s like getting a warm recipe-filled hug in your inbox every month. I’ll send you new recipes, seasonal ideas, and little surprises I don’t always post online. Just scroll to the bottom of any blog page and drop your email in the sign-up box!

What’s the meaning behind the name “We Are Recipes”?

To me, recipes aren’t just instructions, they’re memories, family traditions, and the heart of every cozy kitchen moment. We Are Recipes means we’re all part of the story. Every shared bite, every passed-down tip, and every joyful kitchen win connects us. It’s a community, not just a blog.

What camera do you use for your food photos ?

I use a Canon EOS R6 with a 50mm f/1.8 lens for most shots—it’s great for capturing that soft, cozy feel I love. But honestly? Good lighting and love for what you’re cooking matter more than gear. Some of my quick videos and behind-the-scenes moments are shot right on my phone!
