This Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Cup is a luxurious layered dessert with crispy toasted filo, rich pistachio butter, melted chocolate, and fresh strawberries. It’s a perfect balance of crunch, creaminess, and sweetness, making every bite irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 600 g fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and halved
  • 150 g milk chocolate
  • 200 g pistachio cream
  • 100 g kataifi, cut into small pieces
  • 30 g butter
  • Slivered pistachios, for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries
Wash, dry thoroughly, remove tops, and slice in half. Set aside.
  2. Toast the kataifi
Cut kataifi into small pieces. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, then add kataifi. Toast, stirring constantly, until golden and crisp, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Mix the filling
Add pistachio cream to the toasted kataifi and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Melt the chocolate
Break chocolate into pieces and melt gently using a microwave in short, low-power bursts or over a double boiler until smooth.
  5. Assemble the cups
In serving glasses, layer strawberries, then pistachio kataifi mixture, then drizzle chocolate. Repeat layers once more.
  6. Finish and serve
Top with slivered pistachios and serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry to prevent chocolate from seizing
  • Stir kataifi constantly while toasting to avoid burning
  • Slightly warm pistachio cream if it’s too firm for easy mixing
  • Drain excess butter from kataifi if needed for a lighter texture
