These Chocolate Blueberry Bites are a simple frozen treat made with juicy blueberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and a rich dark chocolate coating. They are refreshing, easy to make, and perfect for a healthier dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice, optional
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Optional Topping

  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the blueberries and Greek yogurt. Stir until the blueberries are evenly coated.
  3. Add the sweetener, if using, and mix well.
  4. Scoop small clusters of the blueberry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for about 1 to 2 hours, or until the clusters are completely solid.
  6. In a microwave safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth.
  7. Remove the frozen clusters from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating completely or partially as desired.
  8. Place the chocolate coated clusters back onto the lined baking sheet.
  9. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired.
  10. Freeze for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.
  11. Serve immediately or store in the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Full fat Greek yogurt creates the creamiest texture.
  • Use high quality dark chocolate for the best flavor.
  • Keep the bites frozen until serving for the perfect texture.
  • Fresh blueberries work best, but frozen blueberries can be used if thawed and drained well.
