3 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons sugar
1 packet rapid rise yeast
1 cup warm water 110°F
3 tablespoons olive oil
1¼ teaspoons salt
Instructions
Add 1 cup flour, sugar, yeast, and warm water to a freezer strength zip top bag. Seal, press out air, and shake gently. Rest 10 to 15 minutes until frothy.
Add remaining flour, olive oil, and salt. Seal and knead through the bag until a soft dough forms.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly until smooth.
Shape into a log and place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise until doubled.
Preheat oven to 375°F and bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Use a freezer strength bag for best results.
Dough should feel slightly tacky, not sticky.
Let the loaf cool at least 30 minutes before slicing for the best texture.
