Description
These crispy, flavorful chicken bites are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or quick dinner. Easy to make and even easier to eat!
Ingredients
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works great)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
-
Prep the Chicken:
Cut the chicken breasts into even 1-inch pieces. This ensures they cook evenly. -
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. -
Set Up the Dipping Station:
Use two bowls: one for the beaten eggs and the other for the breadcrumb mixture. -
Dip and Coat:
Dip each piece of chicken in the beaten eggs, then coat completely in the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all chicken pieces. -
Arrange in Air Fryer:
Place the coated chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking. Cook in batches if needed. -
Air Fry:
Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). -
Serve Immediately:
Serve the chicken bites hot and crispy. Pair with your favorite dipping sauces for a delicious experience!
Notes
- Use Panko Breadcrumbs: For an extra crispy texture, Panko breadcrumbs work best.
- Cut Evenly: Uniform chicken pieces ensure even cooking and crispiness.
- Don’t Overcrowd: Arrange the chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer for the best results.
- Batch Cooking: If making a large batch, keep cooked bites warm in the oven at 200°F (93°C).
- Customize the Seasoning: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for a spicy kick.
- Dipping Sauces: Pair with ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ sauce for added flavor.
