Instructions
- If using fresh chicken, cook and shred it. (See notes for a quick method.)
- In a large bowl, combine romaine, Napa cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots.
- Add the shredded chicken and crispy wonton noodles.
- Gently fold in mandarin oranges, scallions, and slivered almonds.
- Drizzle with sesame dressing and toss until everything is lightly coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For easy shredded chicken: Simmer chicken breasts in broth for ~15 minutes, then shred while warm.
- Toast slivered almonds in a dry skillet for 2 to 3 minutes for extra flavor.
