Description
Skip the grill and make Air Fryer Hot Dogs in minutes! They’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly toasted with warm buns. This is the fastest, easiest way to enjoy classic hot dogs any day of the week!
Ingredients
Scale
For the Hot Dogs:
- 4 hot dogs (all-beef recommended)
- 4 hot dog buns (brioche for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting buns)
Toppings (Optional):
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Relish
- Diced onions
- Shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 390°F and let it preheat for about 2 minutes. This helps the hot dogs cook evenly.
- Prep the Hot Dogs: Place the hot dogs in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. If you want that classic grilled look, make a few small slits on each hot dog before cooking.
- Air Fry the Hot Dogs: Cook for 5–6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. The hot dogs should be lightly crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
- Toast the Buns: For the last 1–2 minutes, place the buns in the air fryer to warm up. If you like buttery buns, lightly brush them with melted butter before toasting.
- Serve & Enjoy: Load up your hot dogs with your favorite toppings and enjoy them hot and fresh!
Notes
- Crispier Hot Dogs? Cook for an extra 1–2 minutes.
- Want a smoky flavor? Add a little smoked paprika or BBQ seasoning before air frying.
- Making more? Cook in batches so the air can circulate properly.
- Cheesy Hot Dogs? Sprinkle shredded cheese over the hot dogs in the last minute of cooking.
